Charity 2024

2024 charity and social

It’s time to give back

A head for good business. A heart for good causes.

We choose a selection of charities, close to our hearts, so that they can continue with their invaluable work and support for those who need it most.

2024 at Fleet Operations

Our chosen charity for this year is Dougie Mac, who provide hospice services to adults, young adults and children living with a life-limiting illness, in Stoke-on-Trent, North Staffordshire and the surrounding villages.

We’re proud to have reached our £5,000 target ahead of schedule this year! A big thank you to our teams, partners, and clients for helping make this achievement possible.

Dougie Mac 24-hour Cycling Challenge

In July, a group of volunteers from the Fleet Operations team completed a 24-hour cycling challenge – cycling 874 miles, from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

Well done to the team for this fantastic achievement and raising money for Dougie Mac, which offers vital end-of-life care and support to local people when they need it most.

Dougie Mac Colour Run

On Sunday June 2nd, we took part in a 1K Colour Run for Dougie Mac to raise money for the Hospice, and had our own stand supporting the runners and showering them with coloured powder as they ran, walked or jogged the route!

Further Support

Throughout the year we provide donation bags to support the hospice, collecting pre-loved clothes, bags, shoes, toys and CDs for their charity shops. One bag of donated goods can raise as much as £40 for hospice care.
