Fleet Operations showcases ground-breaking driver companion app at the Commercial Vehicle Show

By Jayne Pett - Events & Exhibitions|Fleet Management|Fleet Operations News

Fleet Operations will demonstrate the power of its innovative new driver companion app – combining an extensive suite of vehicle and safety management tools – at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show.

The UK’s largest independent fleet and mobility management specialist has launched the latest addition to the MOVE software platform to give drivers everything they need to order and run their vehicles from the palm of their hands.

Sustainability specialists will also be on hand to offer advice to van fleets on how to make the electric transition in the most cost-effective way and to signpost the most appropriate strategies to optimise total cost of ownership.

“Our new app, which we’ve tagged as the only passenger you will ever need, digitally transforms everyday tasks by providing key vehicle information alongside intuitive, automated processes to make working lives safer, easier and more productive,” said Jayne Pett, Sales and Marketing Director at Fleet Operations.

“It simultaneously helps businesses manage costs, vehicle downtime and establish a best practice approach to risk management.”

The solution includes a comprehensive set of risk management tools, with online safety assessments that profile drivers by risk type alongside coaching and e-learning resources.

Vehicle and driver management intelligence, from policy documents and vehicle leasing information to MOT and insurance details, is automatically collated and made available at the touch of a button.

Attendees will be able to use the app to carry out mock defect inspections on a van at the Fleet Operations’ stand to see, first hand, how results are seamlessly updated in the software platform, with issues flagged to the company’s maintenance team.

Customers that sign up to the app before June 1, 2023, are being offered free access to the driver risk management portal for six months.

Show delegates will also be able to discuss wider commercial fleet management services with the Fleet Operations team, including managed multi-supply van sourcing and funding, conversion management, downtime management and maintenance and technical services.

Fleet Operations will be exhibiting at Stand 5F78, at the NEC Birmingham from 18th to 20th April.
