Fleet Operations supports ambitious 2022 growth strategy with key appointments

By Richard Hipkiss - Fleet Operations News

Fleet Operations is supporting its ambitious plans for growth in 2022 with three key appointments.

The UK’s leading independent provider of outsourced fleet management and mobility services is investing to expand its service offering and further build on its market-leading proposition.

Paul Edmed has joined as Business Development Manager. He brings more than 20 years’ fleet and lease industry experience – including senior account management roles at LeasePlan, AMT Contract Hire & Leasing and Avis Budget Group – and is also a seasoned telematics specialist following a role at Airmax Remote Telematics.

Also joining as Business Development Manager, from Select Vehicle Leasing, is Warren Fisher. With more than 30 years’ experience in automotive finance, banking, leasing and fleet consultancy, Warren has an in-depth understanding of the key mobility challenges facing businesses and offers extensive expertise in the delivery of tailored fleet management solutions to both public and private sector clients.

“Fleet Operations is one of the most respected names in the sector, having built an enviable reputation for both product innovation and customer service,” commented Jayne Pett, Sales & Marketing Director, Fleet Operations. “With our latest team members, all leading specialists in their field, we’re putting the people in place to add further value and deliver on our customers’ fleet goals.”

Philip Gregory has also been appointed as Strategic Account Manager to advise on bespoke strategic direction for key clients and support ongoing product and service evolution.

A leading total cost of ownership expert, Phil joins from Lex Autolease where he spent 20 years in various customer-facing roles, most recently spearheading fleet outsourcing strategy development for three of the UK’s largest corporate and public-sector fleets, operating more than 20,000 vehicles. He also brings a wealth of EV and Road to Zero expertise and will be playing a core role in advising clients on the transition to electric.

Richard Hipkiss, Managing Director at Fleet Operations, commented: “This is a particularly exciting year for Fleet Operations as we celebrate our 20th year in business and set our sights on even more ambitious success. We are delighted to welcome three of the fleet industry’s most respected experts.  Each has a wealth of experience in helping car and van fleet clients to decrease cost, improve efficiency and meet evolving challenges like the drive to decarbonisation – which is what Fleet Operations is all about.”

Fleet Operations’ outsourced fleet management services include strategic consultancy, multi-bid leasing, salary sacrifice, EV transition, pay as you go maintenance and dedicated hire provision, as well as supply chain management, policy creation and risk management.
